We’re incredibly excited to announce that after retiring from his role as Deputy Chief Constable for Lincolnshire Police, Jason Harwin has joined our board to use his expertise to aid decision making in our mission to Stamp Out Spiking.
Jason is a recently retired Deputy Chief Constable with Lincolnshire Police, having served in 4 other forces. Prior to retirement from policing he was also the National Police Chiefs Lead for drugs for 5 years, working cross government along with other partners.
Jason was the national police lead for Operation Lester, which was the national response to needle spiking in Oct 2021
Since retiring from policing he now provides support and advice to the Charity Cranstoun who provide drug/alcohol and Domestic abuse services, along with support to Exception who provide Digital Transformation services. In addition he is a member of the Expert Reference Group for the London Drugs Commission and an associate of the College of Policing.
He was awarded the Kings Police Medal in last years New Years honours for his services to policing.
Regarding becoming a board member, Jason said;
“I’m both delighted and privileged to join the board to help the fight to stamp out these horrific crimes that are occurring in all our communities. People should be able to go about their lives without the fear of being spiked and I look forward to using my experience to help the partnership improve the service for victims and catch more of those responsible for these crimes.”
